Brother XR3774 Full-Featured Sewing and Quilting Machine with 37 Stitches, 8 Sewing Feet, Wide Table, and Instructional DVD
The Brother XR3774 is the least expensive Brother sewing machine on the market and is a great entry-level sewing machine. It has enough features for a beginner, without going overboard and charging you extra for it!
It has 37 stitches that you can select using a dial, and the machine comes with a range of basic presser feet, including a buttonhole, zipper, button sewing, narrow hemmer and quilting foot, among others (8 in total). The ¼ inch quilting foot is also included, which is great because most other sewing machine models require you to pay extra for this foot
There is an automatic threader on the Brother XR3774, and the maximum stitch width is 5mm while the maximum stitch length is 4mm.
For those who like to quilt, there’s a quilting table included with this machine, which gives you a greater working space for your large quilting projects. There are built-in quilting stitches and the machine comes with the required ¼ inch quilting presser foot. If you’re wanting to try free motion quilting, you can drop the feed dog using the needle plate cover.
The Brother XR3774 isn’t the fastest machine on the market, sewing at up to 800 stitches per minute. Most other machines sewing at up to 850 stitches per minute. But the different won’t be noticeable if you’re a beginner to sewing or aren’t working as a professional sewer.
The machine has a large working space with the additional quilting table that you can attach to your machine. The working area is brightly lit with an LED bulb to make it easier for you to see your project while you’re using the machine.
