About

Thanks for visiting my website- it’s “sew” good to have you here (Sorry! Lame joke! Blame my dad!).

When I was a kid, I wanted to learn how to sew using my mum’s old Janome sewing machine. Problem was, mom wouldn’t let me because she thought I was too young!

So instead, I learnt how to hand sew and embroider, working on kids projects and knitting scarves for my Barbie dolls.

When I was in my early 20s I bought my first Brother sewing machine without much research, because this was the early days of the internet and no one wrote about sewing machines- there were no product reviews!

This is why I created Sewing For All Seasons- it’s a place where you can read about the different sewing and embroidery machines on the market before deciding which one to buy, whether you’re planning to start your own sewing business or just doing it for fun.

I also share sewing and craft projects made by others, and blogs about starting your own craft business.

Happy sewing!
